Add your business
We publish septic licence records for Georgia, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Missouri, Oklahoma, Rhode Island. If you are licensed in one of those, you are already listed — every business in the state record is, free, and always will be. Find yourself here.
This form is for the other states. Some license septic contractors locally rather than centrally, so there is no statewide list to republish. Others publish one but block automated access. Either way there is no government record for us to cite, and the honest options are to leave those states empty or to let businesses speak for themselves. This is the second one, done carefully. What we will and will not do with it
- We will publish it in a clearly separate, labelled block, never mixed into the government-record listings.
- We will require a licence number and link to the agency that issued it, so a homeowner can check your claim in one click.
- We will say plainly that we have not verified it. Because we have not.
- We will not let it rank on the strength of the rest of the site. Self-submitted listings carry
noindex. Publishing unverified pages under a domain built from government records is exactly the pattern search engines penalise, and it would deserve it.
That last one is worth being blunt about: this listing will not do much for your search ranking. What it does is give someone who has already found us, and is looking in your state, a real business to call and a licence number to check.
Questions
- Does it cost anything?
- No. This is free, and it is not the paid listing product — that one is for businesses already in a state record who want to add a website and description to their existing page.
- Why do you need my licence number?
- Because it is the only thing that makes an unverified listing useful. We have not checked your licence and we will not pretend we have, so the number is what lets a homeowner check it against your state in one click. A submission without one is not publishable.
- Will my listing look the same as the others?
- No, deliberately. Government-record listings and self-submitted ones are visibly different, and yours will be labelled as not verified by us. Blurring the two would destroy the reason anyone trusts the rest of the site — which is also the reason your listing is worth having.
- How long does it take?
- A person reads every submission before it goes live, so allow a few days. We check that the licence number is plausible for the agency you named and that the business exists. We are not able to verify the licence itself.
- I am already listed from a state record. Can I edit it?
- Not through this form — the state record is the state's, not ours, and we publish it as-is. If we transcribed it wrong, report a correction and we will fix it free. If the state has it wrong, we will tell you which office can change it.
